Challenges in Education System in Urban & Rural India
Dropout rate of Science & Mathematics Students.

    Between Grade 6-10

60% students are interested in different fields of science. However, out of these, only 22% students want to become scientists.

    Grade 11

Only 35% of students generally opt for Science Stream. Majority of students from rural areas opt for Non-science Streams like Arts & Commerce Studies in cognitive science demonstrate that children prior to the age of 8 learn best through play-based, activity-based, and discovery-based multilevel flexible styles of learning and interaction. Students from Grade 3 may also begin to transition to a more formal style of learning, e.g. by incorporating some basic textbooks, while still maintaining a strong play- and discovery-based approach.

    Grade 6,

it becomes beneficial for students to begin to have specialized subject teachers in the classroom, where students’ discussion of higher-level concepts within each subject area becomes possible and indeed desirable.

    Grade 9,

adolescents begin to think about their life plans; schooling at this stage must therefore build on the styles of previous stages, Students at this stage must have flexibility of subject options for their differing talents, interests, goals, and ambitions, including access to vocational and arts courses

Challenges in Education System in Urban & Rural India

POOR ACCESS TO SCIENCE TEACHING AIDS

LIMITED ACCESSIBILITY TO INSTITUTIONS OFFERING SCIENCE STREAMS

    LANGUAGE BARRIERS

    OBSOLETE SYLLABUS & TEACHING METHOD

LACK OF DIGITAL LITERACY AND SKILL BASED LEARNING.

The Concern

We believe that every child, irrespective of class and social background, deserves access to quality education, even if it means reaching remotest villages.
Our Indian constitution, too, lists this as one of the fundamental duties:
“Indian Constitution - Part IVA-51 prescribes 11 fundamental duties: (h) to develop the scientific temper, humanism and the spirit of inquiry and reform.”
The need of the hour is to empower children in rural areas with the basic concepts of STEAM Education and Tech. Driven Education like Coding, IoT, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence and 3D Design Thinking all these new age technology helps children in their Skill Modelling process as this develops Logical Approach, Design Thinking, Analytical Skills and Creativity.

Transforming Education 4.0

STEAM and Skill based Education. is an approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking.
According to the National Science Foundation, it is predicted that 80% of the jobs created in the next decade will require some form of technical skills at all levels.
Despite having the top quality talent, the exam-focused education model of the past has limited these students when it comes to innovation, problem-solving and creativity. Initiatives like ISRO’s EDUSAT, can manifold objectives - to supplement the curriculum-based teaching, imparting effective teacher training, providing access to quality resource persons and new technologies, thus finally resulting in taking education to every nook and corner of India.
This is where the Innovative Education Modules such as Coding, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, etc. come in to fill this gap.
We partner with like-minded corporates, International Grant Providers, NGOs and Govt. PSU, Reformative and Education Centers and Educational Trusts & Society, various stake holders to develop sustainable, enduring and effective CSR initiatives in education to empower teachers and inquisitive young minds.
We have collaborated with various corporates who have trusted us to implement their CSR in education goals in an impactful way including 36 NGOs and 26 Private Schools.
We offer our solutions to Private schools also and now we are expanding globally as well.
